I.  PREFACE

IGTE 2007 was themed “Geo-Information for a better future” Such a theme constitutes the continued theme of the previous exhibition, i.e. “The world is in your hand”, and means that the availability of information on geospatial technology use will provide material and preparedness toward better future.

II. ORGANIZATION OF EXHIBITION

Opening Ceremony

The 2^nd Indonesian Geospatial Technology Exhibition was held on August 29 – September 1, 2007, at Assembly Hall, Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center.

Mr. Kusmayanto Kadiman, State Minister for Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, officially re-inaugurated the second exhibition on August 29, 2007, timely at 10.00 hours, at Assembly Hall 1.
